all i want to do is listen to angus & julia stone over and over,
and eat fruit and dance under the stars.
go driving all night and sleep in the back of the car, all cramped with someone beside me.
i want the sunrises and sunsets of last year,
and i want waves that pull me under and show me the underbelly of the water.
i want white cotton shirts that i can wear as dresses,
and beachy hair,
and simple kisses at night time.
i want the browned thong marks on my feet,
and my hair to fade in the constant sun.
i want to just shrug off everything negative about this year, and everybody in it,
because it’s a new start.
come soon, summer. (via journal.)

sometimes life just seems so simple,
like you finally figured it out,
you finally made a choice
things just fall into place.
but life doesn’t stop enough for you to get it sorted.
you just keep making the most sense out of what you have. (via journal.)

i want to reach out and pull the words from you.
but really, actions can make that extra length
and words fail to speak truth most of the time. (via journal.)
